Alcohol Review’s annual live online event, AR2026, looked at the impact AI will have on global efforts to reduce alcohol harm. Participants heard from Nataly Bovopoulos, PhD, of Australia’s Alcohol and Drug Foundation on the pros and cons of bots in delivering alcohol information and from Professor Kathryn Backholer of Deakin University on the use of AI to monitor ads, before a moderated discussion of the topic.
