It will bring breadth, depth and focus, showcasing key advances in global efforts to reduce alcohol harm alongside an agenda-setting live online event.
– Winning the narrative, [live session, 10-11am, UK time]: Grant Ennis (pictured right), author of Dark PR and lecturer at Monash University, brings his deep global insight on health harming industries to a session on defeating commercial disinformation and delivering positive visions for healthier alcohol environments.
– Sharing the benefits [live session, 11-12am, UK time]: Alice Wiseman (pictured left), the UK Association of Directors of Public Health alcohol and drugs lead, will bring hands-on public health perspective on how applying alcohol evidence can improve relationships with alcohol at the individual, family, community and societal levels.
– Discussion [live session, Q&As]: Delegates will have a chance to be heard in a live, moderated discussion of the two overarching themes of the event after each session. The themes of the live sessions will also be addressed by some of the event’s recorded Spotlight sessions.
